TARGET POPULATION: CWU Students, Staff, Faculty, and Parents

MISSION STATEMENT: The Student Health and Counseling Center strives to provide students with medical, counseling, and prevention services through a positive, proactive, cost-effective, accessible and quality driven delivery system.

Additionally, the Center provides wellness information and referral resources for students, faculty, staff and parents. The Center's staffs are available for outreach programs, peer education, internship supervision and other climate enhancing endeavors that promote the respective missions of the Division of Student Affairs and the University as a whole.

The Student Health and Counseling Center strives to enhance the recruitment process, academic achievement, rate of student retention, level of parent and student satisfaction, life expectancy, personal growth, and out-of-classroom learning of a diverse student population.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES/PROGRAM OBJECTIVE: Provide ambulatory health services to CWU students, including physicals, lab, x-rays, etc. Provide outpatient counseling, group counseling, crisis response, and testing for learning disabilities.

COST OF SERVICES: There is a mandatory student fee for all students enrolled in 6 or more credits, which covers services. There is no cost for visits. However, there are charges for x-rays, labs, and supply use.

HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 (during academic calendar)
