DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES/PROGRAM OBJECTIVE: The high school's program has many services. They include: Insight groups, for students experiencing problems with drug and alcohol and wanting to examine behaviors and consequences surrounding their use; recovery groups, for students in recovery and/or returning from drug and alcohol treatment; short-term counseling; and crisis management. The high school also provides education on alcohol and substance abuse issues for freshmen and sophomores through their health classes and for juniors and seniors through family consumer science classes. Additionally, physical education classes are starting to include a drug and alcohol education component.
