TARGET POPULATION: Primarily Central Washington University students.Secondary populations are faculty, staff, and administration of CWU. Next is the Ellensburg community and surrounding area.
MISSION STATEMENT: To enrich students' experiences outside the classroom by providing social, cultural, recreational, and educationally diverse programs, services and apprenticeships.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES/PROGRAM OBJECTIVE: Campus Activities provides a variety of activities on campus for students to enjoy throughout the year. Each week you can find music, comedy, films, lectures, and open mic nights...many of which are free
We also plan special events such as: Wildcat Week, Homecoming Week, Family Weekend, and Student Appreciation Day. Many events take place in the SUB at Club Central where Tomassitos (pizza, sandwiches) and the C-Store are also located.
COST OF SERVICES: Varies by event. For instance, most Comedy Nights are $3 for CWU students, and either $4 or $5 for non-students. Noon Tunes, Coffeehouse concerts, music on the patio, outdoor movies are free to all. Classic Film Series admissions are $3 to all. Homecoming Special Events (Damon Wayons, Jay Leno, Drew Carey) range from $20-25 for CWU students and $35-45 others.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. However, oftentimes activities and events take place after five pm on weeknights and weekends.
