Call For Nominations
College of Arts and Humanities
2004-05 Faculty Schoarship/Artistic Achievement Award The College of Arts and Humanities invites nominations for the 2004-05 Faculty Scholarship/Artistic Achievement Award. The award is given annually to a faculty member in CAH to recognize a single work of scholarship or artistry deemed to be a clearly significant achievement and/or to have a salient potential impact on its academic field.
Eligibility:
The nominee must be a full-time or part-time faculty member teaching at least 15 credits in the College of Arts and Humanities during academic year 2004-05.
Nomination and Submission Process:
- Nominations must be submitted by current full-time or part-time faculty in CAH. Individuals may not nominate themselves.
- Nominators should fill out the attached nomination form (also available on-line at the CAH website: http://www.cwu.edu/~cah/awardforms.html ).
- Nominators should attach a current vita of the nominee.
- Nominations and supporting materials are due in the Dean's office by 5 p.m., April 11, 2005 . Support materials include the nominee's vita and three copies of the work which generated the nomination (submit photographs or slides of designs and works of art; original scores and recordings for musical compositions; manuscripts or publications for written scholarship or creative works).
Awards:
The winner will receive a cash award of $250 and will be honored at the CAH Awards Banquet on May 17, 2005 , along with other honorees of the College.
