Catherine Scarlett

Catherine Scarlett grew up in southeast Nebraska and attended the University of Montana. After graduating from UM she moved to Seattle where she began her career in development working in the non-profit sector. Catherine moved to Ellensburg in 1998 to join the CWU University Relations Division as the Assistant Director for Associates and Stewardship. Catherine's responsibilities have included donor relations and research and she has been active in fundraising efforts to increase endowments for scholarships and other programs. Scholarships represent the most fulfilling aspect of raising money on behalf of CWU for Catherine. She has seen the number of scholarships grow over the last eight years and always is please to read the thank you letters from students. When not working, Catherine spends time on her two acres near Kittitas with her husband, three daughters and their chickens, dogs and cats.
