Our Mentors
The Bridges Project takes great pride in providing schools with dedicated and caring mentors from Central Washington University.
Bridges offers a wide range of positive and inspiring mentors young people can relate to, as well as emulate.
Once students see that someone who was once “just like them,” yet overcame personal and financial obstacles to pursue their dreams in college, they believe that they can too.
Yet not only do the children become more engaged in their education, the mentors experiences a sense of pride and accomplishment in making a difference in a child's life.
Whether encouraging young people to finish their homework, apply for scholarships, or visit colleges, Bridges mentors know the important role they play in creating the learning environment kids need.
The Bridges Project offers paid and unpaid mentoring positions and volunteer opportunities. If you are interesting in volunteering, or becoming a mentor, please contact our office for more information. For applications, visit our Forms page.
