Growing up in southern California introduced me to a wonderfully diverse world. I have lived in Illinois, Texas, and had an apartment in Argentina. My passions involve addressing society's treatment of gender issues, developing ways to help counselors with religious competencies, and spending time with two wonderful daughters.
I've been to over 30 countries and most U.S. States. I travel out of the country at least once a year and value speaking at oversees workshops.
Academically, I am the associate dean of graduate studies and research and an associate professor of psychology at Central Washington University.
Most of my time out of the office involves creative activities, such as writing fiction, playing tennis, painting, ballet, photography, and yoga. I also enjoy watching movies. Here are my favorite films.
