Special/Regular Meeting
- 01-20: The Board approved the May 10-11, 2001 minutes.
- 01-21: The Board approved the 2001-02 Operating Budget, subject to necessary adjustments upon passage of the budget by the Washington State Legislature.
- 01-22: The Board delegated authority to the Vice President for Business and Financial Affairs or designee: 1) to determine the financial feasibility for project funding, 2) to authorize the consultants to continue with design and commence production of the construction documents with the approval of the project committee, and 3) to advertise for bids and execute a construction for the Kamola Hall Restoration Project.
- 01-23: The Board delegated, upon predicated receipt of funding, authority to the VP for Business and Financial Affairs or designee to select and contract with consultants and to bid, award, and executive construction contracts for the Capital Projects identified.
- 01-24: The Board delegated, upon predicated receipt of funding, authority to the VP for Business and Financial Affairs or designee to select and contract with consultants and to bid, award, and executive construction contracts for the Auxiliary Projects identified.
- 01-25: The Board approved that Resolution 01-04 authorizing investment of CWU monies in the Local Government Pool.
- 01-26: The Board adopted the new academic fees and changes in fees, effective fall quarter, 2001.
- 01-27: The Board approved distribution of faculty, exempt, and classified employee salary increases as approved by the legislature and determined by the president and vice presidents in their divisions and the recommended merit increases for tenured and tenure track faculty.
- 01-28: The Board delegated authority to the VP for Business and Financial Affairs to determine the financial feasibility for project funding, and to advertise, select and contract with architect/engineer consultants to proceed with the initial detailed programming phase of the Quality of Life Facilities. Also, the Board established a student fee not to exceed $95.00 per quarter upon completion of the Recreation Center and an additional student fee not to exceed $64.00 per quarter upon completion of the Student Union Building.
- 01-29:The Board approved the Services and Activities Fees Allocations for the 2001-03 biennium and supplemental allocations should be approved as submitted.
- 01-30: The Board approved changes to the Constitution of the Associated Students of Central Washington University.
- 01-31: The Board selected Gwen Chaplin to serve as Chair and Mike Sells as the Vice Chair for the Board of Trustees for CWU for 2001-02
- 01-32: The Board approved the board meeting schedule for 2001-02.
- 01-33: The Board approved changes to sections 3.24.A.8, 8.lO.A.1, 1.l5.H, 4.30.B, 4.60., 5.25.F, 7.25.D, 8.65.C, 8.70.C, 8.75.B, and 8.80 of the Faculty Code of Personnel Policy and Procedure.
- 01-34: The Board approved changes to sections 0.032(1), 3.3011,3.031, 3.042,4.061, 4.076(1)(b), 4.10, and 4.77 of the Exempt Employees' Code of Personnel Policy and Procedure.
- 01-35: The Board approved changes to the Exempt Employees' Salary Plan.
- 01-36: The Board directed President McIntyre and the Faculty Senate to move forward in conversation to implement goals in the Salary Administration Report.
- 01-37: The Board removed from the consent agenda Item 35, Exempt Employee Resignations, to be considered individually. Also, the Board recognized Dr. Gregory Chan for his fine efforts as Executive Assistant to the President and as Interim Associate VP for Undergraduate Studies.
- 01-38: The Board received collectively report items 29-34, and approved action items
36-46 collectively.
