  • Applicants to a Veterinary Medicine school must have compiled minimum overall grade point average of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) to meet the minimum qualification standards for admission.
  • The last 68 credit hours (on the quarter system) are weighed heavier than your overall GPA.
  • The Veterinary Medical Exposure and Animal Experience requirement weigh heavily in the review process, however there are not set number of hours required.
  • NOTE: The Graduate Record Exam general test (GRE) will need to be taken before application.
  • DEADLINE: Many Vet Schools have an application deadline of October 1 so plan early.
