Research

My primary research involves investigations into the vaccine potential of the paraflagellar rod proteins of Trypanosoma cruzi, the agent of Chagas' disease. A second line of research currently ongoing is a collaborative mathematical modelling project with Dr Anna Spagnuolo, studying the dynamics of Chagas' disease with insecticide spraying of endemic villages.
