Teaching

Cell Biology, Genetics, General Biology for Non-majors, Biotechnology for Teachers, Science Education in the Secondary Schools, Science Education in the Elementary Schools. Working to strengthen biology and general science education through educational innovations such as small group collaborative learning and critical thinking across the curriculum.

Research

Cancer biology and tumor angiogenesis, endothelial cell function, factors that influence the development of critical thinking skills in science and math.
