Welcome to the Department!

The Biological Sciences is pleased to welcome several new people to the Department.

New Faculty:

Gabrielle Stryker is a new tenure-track faculty member who was previously at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, where she was an Assistant Professor. Dr. Stryker is an immunologist who studies Chagas' disease, a vector-borne parasitic disease found throughout Latin America. She received her B.S. from the University of New Mexico, a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University and did postdoctoral research at the University of California, Irvine. She will be teaching introductory biology, microbiology, immunology and parasitology at CWU. For more information please visit Dr. Stryker's web page.
