VP Issues:

Nasser shared information he had received regarding the PeopleSoft Campus Portal with Norman.

Nasser reviewed the Cabinet meeting from last week.

The CWU phone system uses 9+1 for access to long distance. As a result of this, calls are mistakenly placed to 911. Rich will check into how many of the 911 calls being placed are actually emergency calls and how many are calls intended to be long distance calls.

Rich will follow up and make sure that the Emergency Procedures for CWU are posted on the WEB.

AVP Issues:

The Joint Labor Relations Committee is scheduled to meet this Thursday from 10-3.

Financial Services Issues:

Joe is on vacation this week.

CTS Issues:

Facilities Management:

Bill reported that a carbon monoxide alarm has been installed in Randall Hall to ensure that safe levels are maintained when either the gas furnace or kiln are fired. A meeting has been scheduled with representatives from the Art Department, Facilities, and Environmental Health and Safety to review safety measures.

The Edmonds bid should be awarded this week.

Flat Funding (expenses recharged to auxiliary enterprises) reconciliation for Facilities Management has been completed.

Energy – A representative from the City of Ellensburg toured campus apartments for lighting replacement (bulbs being supplied at no charge) as a part of the energy conservation plan.

Central’s proposal submitted by Facilities to the BPA conservation augmentation grant program is likely to be funded by BPA.

Facilities Management is also submitting an application for a fuel switching program grant.
