Wildcat Welcome Weekend is a festival for incomming freshman. There will
be games and other activities designed to get new students comfortable with campus and make new friends. |
| Roommate Mixer -- Sept. 18th |
This is agreat chance for you to interact with your roommate, and to meet
other AUAP roommates. Bond with your roommate as we play fun games followed by cookies and other refreshments. |
| Seattle Mariners Game-- Sept. 30th |
Cheer on your favorite Mariners players as you attend a Mariners Baseball game at Safeco Field |
| AUAP Camping --Sept. 23rd, Oct. 7th, 14th, and 28th |
Enjoy nature by camping at one of Washington State's great campgrounds. This is
a great opportunity to romp through forests, sit around a campfire, and spend the night under the stars. |
| Horseback Riding -- Sept. 24th, Oct. 8th, 15th, and 27th |
Learn to ride a horse and explore nature on your own trusty steed. Yee-haw! |
| International Student Welcome Party -- Sept. 29th |
Meet students from all over the world and snack on cookies as you listen to
music from many different countries at the International Student Welcome Party. |
| Campus Friend Reception -- Oct. 12th |
You will be introduced to your Campus Friend at an ice cream social. This is a
great chance to chat with your new friend and get to know each other. |
| Community Friend Reception -- Oct. 17th |
You will be introduced to your Community Friends and have a chance to talk
with and get to know them at this exciting event. |
| The Battle in Seattle -- Oct. 21st |
Cheer from your seat in the Seattle Seahawks' Stadium as the Central
Men's Football team battles their rivals, Western Washington University. Go Wildcats! |
| Campus Friend Pumpkin Party -- Oct. 25th |
Celebrate Halloween by carving a scary face into a pumpkin with your Campus Friend |
| Japan Night and Coming if Age Ceremony -- Jan, 6th |
Singing, dancing, and sharing special moments with friends are all part of this night
when students have a chance to share Japanese culture with their Campus and Community Friends. We also hold
the Coming of Age Ceremony on this night to recognize the students that will or have come of age during AUAP. |
| CWU Friends Farewell Pizza Party -- Jan. 30th |
You will have a chance to invite roommates, Campus Friends, or anyone else that has been a special
part of your CWU experience to share in an evening of fun, student entertainment, and pizza. This is an evening designed for
you to say goodbye and thank you to all of your CWU Friends. |
| Farewell Banquet -- Feb. 1st |
The final banquet is for AUAP students and staff only. It is a special time for remembering
the good times that we all shared. There will be a formal dinner, followed by a closing ceremony with speeches,
entertainment, and the presentation of certificates. |
