Academic policy may encompass issues of entrance, graduation requirements, withdrawals, incompletes and other matters of general academic policy.

Art Selection & Permanent Collection Committee: 1 student member
* The Art Selection & Permanent Collection Committee considers the purchase of and placement of art around campus to maximize the beauty of the campus and the artwork.
Athletic Compliance Committee: 2 Student members
* The Athletic Compliance Committee establishes institutional policies and procedures that ensure institutional compliance with NCAA bylaws.

* The Board of Academic Appeals reviews students' final appeals regarding disputes with classes/credits.

* The Campus Beautification Committee is designed to understand and wish to create a beautiful Ellensburg campus. Projects and recommendations are gained by substantial student input.
Campus Judicial Council: 8 student members
* The Campus Judicial Council is the highest judicial system authorized to hear complaints and apply sanctions against students, organizations, and departments.
Campus Safety and Health Committee: 1 student member
* The Campus Safety and Health Committee develops University-wide safety and health policies and procedures.
Campus Site and Development: 2 student members
* The Campus Site and Development recommends policies and changes for university buildings and parking lots.
Center for Excellence in Leadership Advisory Board: 2 student members
* The Center for Excellence in Leadership Advisory Board advises CEL on its leadership development programs.
Commercial Activities Committee: 1 student member
* The Commercial Activities Committee reviews university activities to ensure compliance with CWU commercial activities policies.
Council of Probity: 7 student members
* The Council of Probity reviews the legality and constitutionality of actions approved by the ASCWU Board of Directors.
Diversity Council: 4 student members
* The Diversity Council serves as the focal point on campus to explore issues and recommend university-wide diversity initiatives.
Election Commission: 5 student members
* The Election Commission makes all preparations and decisions regarding the ASCWU elections process.

* The Graduate Council aids Graduate students to examine current practices and make changes to current policies.
Library Advisory Committee: 1 student member
* The Library Advisory Committee advises the Dean of Libraries on the development of library and instructional materials, services, and policies.
Media Equipment & Technology Committee: 1 student member
* The Media Equipment & Technology Committee guides the development, purchase and distribution of classroom technology enhancements.
Parking Advisory Board: 3 student members
* The Parking Advisory Board discusses and prepares new or improved guidelines regarding parking issues.
Parking Violations Appeals Board: 3 student members
* The Parking Violations Appeals Board reviews written and verbal information with regard to a parking violation and decides to either uphold the ticket, dismiss the ticket, or reduce the fine.
Scholarships Advisory & Oversight Committee: 2 student members
* The Scholarships Advisory & Oversight Committee recommends policies for distribution of student scholarships including ensuring compliance with federal financial aid requirements, selection processes, funding, and distribution.
Services and Activities Funding Committee: 7 student members

Small Grants Committee: 2 student members
* The Small Grants Committee is responsible for reading pleas and allocating student grants.

* The Student Athletic Advisory Committee monitors the Director of Athletics to ensure proper use of Athletic Fee funds.

* The Student Technology Fee Committee is responsible for the allocation of Technology Fee revenues.
