Donna Stack
Assistant Professor
Donna Stack received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Austin Peay State University in 1996 and her Master of Fine Arts in studio art from the University of South Florida in 2002. She is a multi-media artist who utilizes installation, video and performance. Her work addresses issues dealing with her multi-cultural identity, dualities, and notions of authenticity. Professor Stack recently curated and participated in Re-contextualized Vistas: Concerning Place at the 2005 Bumbershoot, Seattle Festival for the Arts and was the recipient of a solo exhibition in New York City at the Phoenix Gallery. She is also a member of Shift Collaborative Studio, which is an active arts collaborative located within the Tashiro Kaplan Building in downtown Seattle. Donna Stack has exhibited widely in national and international venues and is in several private collections. Her work has been reviewed in a number of publications including art US and Mavin magazines.
