  • Primate behavior and conservation (particularly gibbons), biological anthropology.

Field Experience

  • Behavior and ecology of black gibbons (Nomascus concolor), Yunnan Province, China
  • Rehabilitation and reintroduction of white-handed gibbons (Hylobates lar), Thailand
  • Tourist-monkey (Macaca thibetana) interactions in Anhui Province, China
  • Gibbon conservation issues in Malaysia, Thailand, China, and the United States (captive populations)
