Interests & Expertise

  • Archaeology, Evolutionary Theoretical Perspectives, Fieldwork and Laboratory Methods, Archaeometry, Lithic Analysis, Cultural Resource Management, North American Prehistory

Archaeological Field Experience

  • Approximately 16 archaeology field seasons in cultural resource management and research contexts in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Missouri, Arkansas, and Georgia.
  • Extensive work in western United States in interior, mountainous, and coastal settings.
  • Work in plow-zone settings in Southeast Missouri and Northeast Arkansas for Dissertation fieldwork.

  • Assistant Professor, Central Washington University, 1999 to Present.
  • Lecturer in Anthropology, Central Washington University, 1997 to 1999.
  • Lecturer in Anthropology, Western Washington University, 1997.
