Dr. Klug has done cultural anthropological research with Mono, Paipai, and Zapotec in California and Mexico, cultural and linguistic work with Samal of the Philippines, and linguistic work with the people of Ellensburg. She primarily teaches linguistics. Her current research includes work on symbolism and petroglyphs.
