Subscribe to List Server, How-To

 

   In order to subscribe to the list, a user sends a message to akp-comm-request@cwu.edu ( akp-alumni-request@cwu.edu for Alumnis) leaving ALL but one line in the message body blank. The line written in the body should be exactly as follows with the substitution of the individual's email address for youraddress@yourdomain.com:

 

 

SUBSCRIBE AKP-COMM youraddress@yourdomain.com
SUBSCRIBE AKP-ALUMNI youraddress@yourdomain.com

NOTE: TO UNSUBSCRIBE from comm or alumni listserve, send another email:
UNSUBSCRIBE AKP-COMM youraddress@yourdomain.com
UNSUBSCRIBE AKP-ALUMNI youraddress@yourdomain.com

Lastly, wait for a welcome message to be returned to you- this may take several minutes. When you receive a welcome message, you are subscribed. If an error message is returned, please send an email to bucklenk@cwu.edu describing the problem. You will then be manually subscribed.
