VEE CreditsVEE stands for "Validation by Educational Experience". In addition to the first four preliminary actuarial exams there are three subjects that are covered under what are known as VEE credits. There are several ways of uptainig these credits which are spelled out in the following link to the SOA website: Fortunately CWU has gone through the process of having specific courses certified for VEE credits. Below is a description of the three subject areas that are required by the actuarial societies along with the CWU courses that correspond to these credits. Where there is more than one course listed all courses must be taken in order to recieve VEE credit for that subject. In addition, a grade of B- or better must be achieved in all classes in order to count towards VEE credits. Note that one of these courses is not a degree requirement (i.e. Time Series) however it is highly recommended that students take this course while at Central.
