The Private Tutor Referral Form offers a resource for students wishing to hire their own tutors.

All financial arrangements must be made between the student and tutor, outside the responsibility of CWU. Due to space limitations, private tutoring cannot occur in the Academic Achievement Programs office.

You will be contacted within a day or two with a list of potential tutors. Tutors may or may not be directly affiliated with the Tutoring Program. A referral does not constitute an endorsement. To determine academic expertise, you may wish to ask potential tutors for copies of college transcripts, for references from students they have tutored in the past, or for references from professors familiar with their academic work.
