Please join us for a discussion with Norma Field, a historian from the University of Chicago, on the issue of "comfort women," sexual slaves for the Japanese military during World War II. Dr. Field will be speaking on Thursday, Nov. 8th at 4:00 p.m. in Dean 359.
She will also be showing a film, "Hibakusha," on the aftermath of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, at 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 8th in the Dean Hall lobby.
