Our space for individuals and groups to practice self sustenance and resilience through growing their own food.
Students and faculty work side by side, diligently tending to the fields, sharing knowledge and insights. You feel a sense of connection to the food you eat, the environment, and the community, all intertwined in a cycle of growth and learning. The farm not only serves as an educational hub but inspires you to reflect on the broader implications of agriculture and its essential role in society.
Our farm occupies ancestral land of the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama nation, made up of Klikitat, Palus, Wallawalla, Wanapum, Wenatchi, Wishram, and Yakama people. The Yakama people remain committed stewards of this land, cherishing it and protecting it, as instructed by elders through generations. We are honored and grateful to be here today on traditional lands. We give thanks to the legacy of the original people, their lives, and their descendants.
