Get curious and get connected!  Your friends get your jokes, offer you congrats and maybe even hug you hello. They are all helping you bust stress and boost well-being. In fact, Mental Health America has found that 71 percent of people surveyed turned to friends or family in times of stress.

Humans are social animals: We crave feeling supported, valued and connected. The Look Up Reach Out Campaign is designed to foster the social connections that help people thrive and stay emotionally healthy. The Get Curious component of the campaign has two main themes. The first is to be curious about your environment and discover ways to be involved, engaged and motivated. That is what Living Healthy is all about. The second theme is to be curious about what is going on in the lives of your friends. Would you know if they needed a little extra support? A small gesture like texting them to say hi or getting together for a walk could make a world of difference. Mental Health America has found that 71 percent of people surveyed turned to friends or family in times of stress.

So go ahead – Get Curious by exploring the Look Up Reach Out Web page.
