Keith retired from U.S. Bank in July of 2015, He was a senior vice president, senior portfolio manager and managing director for U.S. Bank Asset Management Group in Spokane, covering Central and Eastern Washington and the Northern Idaho markets. He joined the firm in 1990. Keith had more than 33 years of financial industry experience. As a senior portfolio manager, Keith managed almost $500 million of investments for institutions and high net worth clients. As managing director, he managed a team of five other portfolio managers in Spokane and Boise.
Prior to joining the firm, Keith was an investment advisor with Kidder Peabody in Seattle for eight years. Prior to that, he owned and operated a general aviation business for six years and he was a Naval Aviator and Lockheed P-3 Orion aircraft commander in the U.S. Navy for six years.
Keith received a B.A. from Central Washington University in 1970. He served on the board of the Central Washington University Foundation for seven years. He is a past chair of that board.
In 2006, Keith was appointed by the Washington State governor to Central’s Board of Trustees. He is currently serving as board chair.
Keith and his wife Betty, both Spokane natives, enjoy their lake home on Diamond Lake, near Newport, WA, They enjoy water skiing and cruising in their 1964 Chris Craft wood lake boat, At their home in Spokane, Keith enjoys his shop where he pursues his interest of working on classic American street rods and European cars.
They have two daughters, Jessica and Kristin and two grandchildren, Keith and Kelly, all residing in Spokane.
