Costume and Prop Donations
We welcome all donations of costume and prop pieces. Once accepted they become property of the State and must follow all regulations established for State property.
Donated of costumes and props should be coordinated with the Costume Shop Manager and/or the Scene Shop Manager. The shop managers will put them in the appropriate storage location.
If the donor desires a letter verifying the donation for tax purposes, a detailed description of the donation and the donor's contact information should be provided with the donation. The appropriate tax letter will be sent to the donor. Please note: It is the donors responsibility to document the value of the donation for tax purposes. Donations of over $5,000 may require an outside appraisal for tax purposes.
