Wellington Event Center


Reservations can  be made by contacting Residence Life at 963-1324.  All reservations require department approval from Wellington's Staff.

Wellington's is only available to on-campus departments and recognized CWU student clubs for official university business. These groups are still subject to room setup and equipment fees. For questions regarding rates or to discuss specific space needs for your request, please contact Residence Life at 963-1324.

Reservations and cancellations must be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to the event, in order to schedule operational and custodial staff and ensure facility availability; exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Residence Life Office Manager, depending on availability and staffing. In the case of a no-show or cancellation with less than 24 hour notice, the cleaning and setup fee will still be assessed. 

Wellington's open's at 8 am and can not be scheduled prior to that time.


$50 cleaning/set up with additional $25 charge for specific set up other than the default


AV Cart (projector, screen, microphone, CD/DVD Player)
On Campus Dept.  $75

High Voltage Power Charge (if hooking up on the Barto Lawn - bands, etc.) $75

Technician fee:  $25 per hour to have a technician hired to be on-site for the event  


Alcohol is strictly prohibited.

Any event involving obscenity or public displays in violation of CWU policies will not be permitted.

Events must be in compliance with local noise ordinances - due to attached living quarters.

Candles and open flames are strictly prohibited
