  • Building Manager

    Our Building Managers are responsible for the safety and security of the Student Union and its guests. They are the eyes and ears of the facility. The Building Managers are responsible for reviewing daily reports, ensuring rooms are clean and unlocked for clients, and are in charge during an emergency. Building Managers typically work evenings and rotating weekends.

  • Event Staff

    Event Staff is the backbone of events on campus. This position is responsible for setting up tables, chairs, staging, etc. for hundreds of events a year. This position also allows for additional flexibility in scheduling. Shifts become available as events are booked, and you get to pick when you want to work.

  • Media Technician

    Our Media Technicians run the show. Literally. Job duties include mixing sound for open mics, running A/V for a 400-person banquet, to setting up lights for a large EDM concert. Student Employees in this position develop skills not only pertinent to the live event industry but also leadership and communication skills that lead to careers in all fields.

  • Custodial

    Our Custodial team is responsible for keeping over 100,000 square feet of the SURC clean. With over 10,000 daily entrances, our Custodial team ensures that everyone visiting is greeted with a sparkling facility. This position also offers flexibility in schedules with early morning and late evening shifts available.

  • Info Center

    Our Info Center team is responsible for being the “hub” of information on campus. The info center team is busy answering calls, assisting guests, and providing Connection Card services. Greeting everyone with a smile, our info center is the soul of the Student Union.

  • Office Assistant

    The Office Assistant works closely with our full-time schedulers in a fast-paced, fun environment. This position is responsible for being the face of the scheduling center, taking information, and booking reservations for events and meetings. This position typically works within business hours.
