Student Technology Fee Committee: The Student Union and the Student Technology Fee Committee have partnered to establish a Wireless Computer Checkout Lab located out of the Information Center. Students have the ability to checkout laptop computers, at no cost, for a maximum of two hours per session. This program enables the students to do homework, search the web, or just listen to music and watch movies while enjoying the comfort and amenities of the Student Union.
Visitation Program: From a starting point conveniently located at the Student Union Information Center, the CWU Visitation Program offers two campus tours daily to students, parents, and guests.
Facilities Management: The SURC Management team and Building Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor work closely with Facilities Management on specialized projects for the SURC. In addition, our Scheduling Services office works with Facilities Management on a daily basis for work order requests when scheduling academic space, or events requiring additional support.
Daily Record: The Student Union partners with the Daily Record each year to host a community "Wedding & Events Expo" in the SURC Ballroom. This event showcases local vendors providing services for weddings and events, as well as providing attendees a look at our own beautiful venue for their future consideration.
Business Services & Contracts: The Student Union collaborates almost daily with the business office regarding university policies, procedures and contracts.
Conference Program: The Student Union Scheduling Services office works closely with the Conference program by scheduling campus spaces and resources for conferences requiring lodging.
