About Student Development

Vision: The Department of Student Life is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment that fully engages all university students. Essential programs and services will promote students’ intellectual, cultural, emotional and physical well being as students transform themselves to achieve their educational goals in and out of the classroom.

Mission: Together, Student Life programs and partnerships will bring the campus together as part of the Seamless Learning Model to create a comprehensive learning community and create a positive learning environment where our students can develop a portfolio of core competency skills such as:

These skill sets will enable our students to have an active and fulfilling university experience at Central Washington University preparing them to assume leadership roles in a diverse, inclusive, global, international and multicultural world.
