Job Description: 
Need 1 student to work up to 8 hours per week. Must be available 2:45pm to 4:45pm, Monday-Thursday. Community Service Position

Application Process for In-District Transfer: Submit formal request for transfer addressing each of the items listed under qualifications and demonstrated abilities to the Superintendent's office (In-house candidates currently within the aide classification need only to submit written request for transfer). Request must be received by 3:00 p.m., December 7. All transfer requests that meet above qualifications and demonstrated abilities will be considered as per Article X, Section 10.6 of PSE contract, and as per District Personnel Policy 5211.
Duties & Responsibilities: 
This aide will work with individual students of middle school and high school age in a study hall setting. The position is daily, 2:45 to 4:45 p.m. in the school library every Monday through Thursday. Position will begin following winter break and is expected to continue through the end of school, about 84 work days. Primary focus is math and language arts. Position is dependent upon student attendance and Title I funding availability. Contact Mr. Maynard for additional information.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Needed: 
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work with children and adults in a positive, constructive manner. High School diploma. DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES: To communicate effectively with students, parents, community, staff and administration. To effectively manage school age students. To work cooperatively as a member of a building team. Ability to take direction from superiors. Willingness to do variety of related tasks. Willingness and ability to work with small and large groups of students.
