Duties & Responsibilities:
The classroom assistant for the Business Computer Technology Program will collaborate and assist program students for the Business Computer Technology Program at Wenatchee Valley College. The primary role of this position is to support the Business Computer Technology program instructor in delivering and facilitating hybrid courses that are part of the program. He/she is specifically assigned to provide technology related functions to provide support for BCT students. This position will have regular contact with students, faculty, staff and administrators at WVC. The duties for this position will be performed in the physical and virtual classroom of the BCT program. The duties for this positions may include some evening hours and the work schedule follows the calendar for the college's quarterly classes, plus additional projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Needed:
-Certificate of Completion degree in Administrative Assistant, Computer application and/or Accounting.
-Strong interpersonal, writing, and speaking skills.
-Computer skills: (Office 2007) MS Database, Word processing, Publisher, PowerPoint, Web Design, Internet, Windows XP, Excel, QuickBooks Pro, Business Math, General Ledger Software, Blackboard, Angel, IM digital camera, fax, copier, printer, scanner, projector, calculator, laptop.
-Experience working with adult learners
