Job Description: 
Must be available Monday-Thursday 2:30-5:00
Duties & Responsibilities: 
This position works with middle school students in an afterschool setting. Besides tutoring and homework help, afterschool program assistants organize and lead enrichment activities including, but not limited to things like leadership coaching, experiential project based learning, geocashing, chess, art, drama, dance as well as a variety of sports and field-trips. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) activities are a particular focus of the after-school program.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Needed: 
Applicants should be creative, organized, positive, flexible and able to work independently on enrichment activities, tutoring or homework activities with small groups in a classroom setting. Small and large group management training is offered as part of your employment. Candidates must be available 2:30-5:00 PM prefer Monday-Thursday (on site coordinators set work schedules and may consider candidates who are able to work at least 2 days a week).
