Welcome back for Winter Quarter, everyone.  We hope your holidays were pleasant and safe.

The Human Resources Student Employment office is pleased to announce that, effective Winter Quarter 2013, on-campus student jobs (Ellensburg and the Centers and Sites) are being posted in PeopleAdmin (PA) on the Human Resources Jobs page.

Jobs that were posted on the on-campus job board as of December 31st have already been transitioned to the new site.  If you had a job posted, please review it so you know what it will look like to students.  If you have any questions about your posting, feel free contact Karla Shugart (x2270) or Kathy Johnson (x2072).

All on-campus student job postings will be submitted via PeopleAdmin.  We have conducted several training sessions (and will schedule more) on modifying a job description and/or submitting a job to be posted.  We anticipate that the process will seem familiar; in PeopleAdmin, you enter job information on-line into specific fields just as you did before.

Most student jobs (even those which were not posted on the Job Board at the time of the transition) have been uploaded into PA and are in “Draft” status; if you know the job number or title, we can help you find it.  Once we activate the job, you will be able to easily modify any job to get it ready for posting or just to update to update without posting.  Please contact Karla or Kathy so we can activate the job description and verify your PeopleAdmin settings.

You can also create new jobs for either posting or hiring.  Again, please contact Karla or Kathy so we can verify your PeopleAdmin settings.

We have conducted five training sessions on modifying an existing job or creating a new student job.  We will schedule additional sessions and will announce them here and in Central Today.  When they are announced, you will be able to register for the classes using Self Service in SAFARI/PeopleSoft system.
