Essential Functions: 
Deploy video equipment to record events around the CWU campus to playback on CWUTV ch. 15. Ability to work independently in various conditions and locations to capture video content. Ability to take direction and work with a production team on location and in the studio on video productions.
Necessary Skills: 
An extensive knowledge of the operation of digital video-cameras, wireless microphones and tripods is a must. Post-production editing skills is a plus, knowledge of of Final Cut Pro X editing software. Able to lift/carry 20 pounds of equipment to various locations, able to stand for up to 3 hours at a time, have a current drivers license.
Purpose of Position: 
To create high-quality video programs to air on CWUTV ch. 15, the station for Central Washington University.

This job will benefit anybody wanting to pursue a career in video production. This experience will give you the confidence to understand how to produce a high quality television video product. While working independently, individuals working for CWUTV ch.15 will have learned how to troubleshoot equipment/logistic issues on location and make executive creative decisions.
