Essential Functions: 
Media Tech Assistant for Event Support Services, which provides production support to various events on and off CWU Campus. This position will be responsible for set up, operation, and tearing down events that utilize sound and video equipment for meetings, events, performances and bands. This position will also assist in other production duties such as room set-ups and tear downs, with other duties as assigned.
Necessary Skills: 
Experience with set-up and operation of professional quality A/V equipment including data projectors, PA systems, mixing boards, lighting, etc. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while working with the general public. Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal directions carefully. Strong Customer Service Skills. Must be able to work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines. Must have a valid driver's license
Purpose of Position: 
The media technician will play a valuable part in ensuring that Event Support Services produced events are successful and professional. This position is also needed to help with staffing for events and concerts throughout the year. We work with many styles/types/genres of events, and this position will expand on skills as well as provide training that will benefit anyone wanting to work in the event production field.
