Homecoming 5k Fun Run to Support Breast Cancer Awareness University Recreation and the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement are partnering to celebrate Homecoming Week with the annual 5K Fun Run Saturday, Oct. 13 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at OPR. Registration is only $15 before Oct. 12 and $20 the day of the event. Participants will receive a t-shirt and $10 of each registration fee will go directly towards the fight against breast cancer in Kittitas County, specifically to fund breast cancer screenings for woman who otherwise could not afford it. The 5K Fun Run will take runners through campus on a crisp fall morning and be the perfect addition to Breast Cancer Awareness month and a great kick-off to Homecoming.
