College Outcome Reports: Core Theme I for AY2014-15

Dear Deans Ballard, Cutright, Johnson, Martell, and Robertson:

Please use the following webform to submit your outcome report for your strategic planning efforts surrounding Core Theme I during the AY 2014-15. As you can see, the main focus of assessment lies in the contributions your college has made toward the objectives, outcomes, and indicators found in the CWU strategic plan.

Core Theme 1:
This page asks you to report data that reveals your college's/unit's progress toward achieving the institution's mission related to teaching and learning. Data reports include student learning outcomes, student post-graduation information, progress toward student success as measured by retention and graduation rates, faculty and student engagement inside and outside the classroom, and student support services.
Objective 1.1:
The data requested below relates specifically to enhancement of curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular programs.
Program Learning Outcomes
Academic outcome assessment is critical to help us understand if we are indeed fulfilling our mission to students.

Post-graduation?
Some departments/units have developed a plan to follow up with graduating students. This data can help identify areas of need and growth. The following areas relate to student success as measured by post-graduation employment, graduate school admission, military enrollment, or other indicators of success.

Student Success Data
The next section asks you to gather and report data specifically related to markers of student success in your college. Data surrounding persistence, graduation, time-to-graduation, and credits-to-graduation are to be reported.

The next few questions ask you to report the percent of students that persist from one year to the next in your college.

This section asks for data related to "credits to graduate" for both students that started their college career at Central, and those that transferred to Central with a DTA. Report the percent of graduating students that graduated from your college with more than 225 credits.
