Student Transitions and Academic Resources

Victoria Enriquez, Academic Advisor

Victoria recently moved to Ellensburg, WA from Kennewick WA. She grew up in a small farming community town called Warden, WA. Victoria comes from a first-generation student background.

She earned a BA degree in Sociology and minor in Comparative Ethnic Studies from Washington State University and also earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership also from Washington State University. Prior to working here in Ellensburg, WA Victoria was working as a G.A. Staff Assistant for the career services where she helped students prepare for their future careers.

Victoria has numerous years of experience in mentoring and advising first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities through the Upward Bound program, Student Support Services (TRiO) Program, GEAR UP, and the Washington State Univeristy Multicultural Services.  Victoria has a passion in helping college students reach their academic and career goals and strongly believes all students can reach their academic dreams. In Victoria’s spare time she likes to hang out and go out with her husband, family and friends. She also loves to be active by working out, bicycling, singing, and dancing. One of her passions since she was a teenager is writing lyrics and creating new inspirational quotes.
