Born and raised in Bozeman, MT, Sarah Pope earned her B.A. in English and Philosophy at Seattle University and her M.A. in English Rhetoric and Composition at Purdue University. She spent a year after graduating from Seattle University as an Americorps volunteer with a program called Intergenerational Innovations and then worked for two years in the Homesharing Program for Senior Services in downtown Seattle. After earning her master’s degree, she moved to Ellensburg, where she lives with her husband and daughters, ages 4 and 6. She has been an academic advisor at CWU for over five years now. Sarah enjoys the outdoors, running, reading good books, spending time with her family, and gardening. She is very happy to be living in Ellensburg and working as an academic advisor for STAR.
