Born and raised in beautiful Wisconsin, Greg moved to Ellensburg in the spring of 2013 to join the STAR program as an academic advisor. After a tumultuous beginning in higher education as a first-generation college student, Greg received his B.A. from Beloit College with majors in Philosophy and Literary Studies. He then earned an M.S. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison specializing in underrepresented student success and retention.
Greg is proud to have been involved in Student Support Services and the McNair Scholars Program (TRiO) as both a student and staff member. He has a passion for ensuring undergraduate students find academic and personal success throughout their college careers. He prides himself on being student-centered and approachable. He is thrilled to begin a new adventure with the students at Central within the STAR program.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys traveling with his wife Alana, reading, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.
