All about the CWU Dance Team

The Central Washington Dance Team is a CWU Sports Club that promotes a collegiate level of spirit, strides for academic excellence, takes pride in helping the community, and challenges each member to strength their dance and athletic ability. The main styles of dance that the CWU Dance Team focuses on are jazz and hip-hop however the team also incorporates other styles such as pom and kick so that members are well-rounded and diverse dancers. The team has tryouts usually in May but we do encourage CWU students to inquire about the team by emailing us all throughout the year. We have open practices for students who are interested in the team to come and practice with us and hopefully prepare them for the upcoming tryout season.
