What do you like the most about being in SOLVER?

Getting to know other people in my cohort and having the opportunity to interact with other professionals. Getting another helping hand to reach my career and education goals before I graduate in CWU.

What drew you to majoring in "STEM" (the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics)?

What drew me into majoring in the STEM was curiosity. I was curious about science as to why it happens, what are the causes, and when does it happen. By answering those questions, can lead to new discoveries in the field of science particularly in the field of medicine. I have always been interested as to why it works in the human body and what ways to prevent illnesses to decrease disparities.

What advice would you give to high school or college students who think they might be interested in STEM subjects?

The advice I would give to high school or college students who might be interested in the STEM subject is to have fun and by having fun is doing the things you love. Know the career paths you want to pursue and enjoy what you are doing because you will be doing it for the rest of your life. Take the opportunities offered in front of you because it is once in a lifetime. Most of all do your best.
