What do you like the most about being in SOLVER?

Having the opportunity to present my summer research at the SACNAS Conference and getting to know other students from different disciplines in STEM.

What drew you to majoring in "STEM" (the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics)?

I was drawn to the STEM direction because I was always interested as to how the human body works, how do we get sick, and getting to do some hands on experiments in biology. I like how biology is very broad and a like to learn new things.

What advice would you give to high school or college students who think they might be interested in STEM subjects?

I would tell them to do things that catches their interest and do things that they love to do in STEM. Get to know your professors and mentor as guidance to accomplish your goals throughout your academic career.
