What do you like most about being in SOLVER?  What I like most about being in SOLVER is the endless support from my mentors and peers in the cohort. This has served as a big motivation for my academics. I also enjoy that we all have similar interests and can help each other.

What drew you to majoring in STEM? I decided to pursue and education in STEM because I realized how much of an impact I can have on my community in the future by obtaining an education/career in the STEM field. It's also a challenging area, which I found myself attracted to because it pushes me to learn and try things that I may not know I am capable of accomplishing.

What advice would you give high school students or people entering college who think they might be interested in STEM subjects? My advice to prospects entering their undergraduate career is that if a field in STEM is something you want to pursue but are unsure because of other factors that play into you not being able to do so, don't give up, and take the initiative to find the right answers. Ask questions and talk to people from your school of interest. There is a lot of help out there and with will, you can do anything.
