Teaching and Research Interests
My research interests focus on gender and identity, specifically the relationship between identity formation and institutions, including the media, family, and religion. My teaching interests include feminist movements and theory, gender, family and socialization, and media. I utilize both quantitative and qualitative methods in my research, and teach an overview of research methods for the major.
