  • DVD Library requesting $1800 not $18,000

  • Pep Band and Marching Band are proposals not supplemental requests
  • Under Sports Clubs take out "requesting money for a new position because of the growth of the clubs"

  • Club Senate:
    • Sports clubs have to go through the Senate first
    • Fellowship clubs
      • Spiritual, religious, political (largest significant club in Senate)
      • Interest clubs
    • Has maintained average of 130 clubs
    • Purpose
      • Originally avenue of feedback to Board of Directors
      • Way for students to receive monetary assistance
        • Trips, conferences, tournaments that not otherwise be able to do
    • Administrative Assistant-10 hours/week
    • Treasurer-14hours/week
    • Senate approved hourly wage of $8.20
    • Resource Center
    • All clubs that are recognized can ask for money
    • Clubs that are religiously or politically affiliated are limited on what they can ask for
    • Most requests are academic
    • Sports clubs go to Senate and Bob Ford
      • So expensive, rarely get more that 20% of total cost of event
