The Department of Art at Central Washington University was contacted last fall about the possibility of having a class design a logo for the local Children of Chernobyl organization. Professor Glen L. Bach, director of the CWU graphics design program, accepted the academic service-learning request to give his senior-level students experience of putting their skills to work in assisting a non-profit organization.
