The Furniture Series is a collaborative dance performance created and produced by Robin Jaecklein, dance instructor at Tacoma School of the Arts. Inspired by an oversized  rocking chair on Tacoma's 6th Avenue, this evening contains eleven dances, each central to a piece of furniture found in Jaecklein's home. Works include "Couch," "Bed," "Chair," "Curtain," and "Table." Hannah Crowley a 2008 CWU graduate with an Art Major, Dance Minor will be returning to CWU as a performer in the upcoming evening dance performance of the Furniture Series. Hannah was a member of the Orchesis Dance Company during her years at Central. She currently resides in the Tacoma area and continues to pursue a professional career in dance.
