The College of the Sciences continues to put collaboration between students and faculty at the center of undergraduate education. The College of the Sciences Undergraduate Research Grants Program allows students to propose and conduct a research project in conjunction with a faculty mentor. Faculty mentors may sponsor three student proposals per year. Students may submit one proposal per year.
Due date for submission: The second Friday in February (February 12, 2016), at 5:00 PM in the Dean’s Office.
|The College of the Sciences announces a new funding opportunity for undergraduate participation in faculty-mentored research. The new COTS Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) will fund student researchers and their faculty mentors for up to six weeks (240 hours) of research beginning summer of 2016. Effort may be full-time or part-time in working the funded hours, but must be completed between June 16 and September 15. Click here for the SURE application and additional details.|
